Donate Your Vehicle

Do you have an old car, motorcycle, boat or RV (in any condition, running or not) that you no longer need? Now you can donate it to the Order and receive a tax deduction for its full fair market value!

Here's how it works:

  1. Contact Cars 4 Causes at 1-800-766-2273. You will be asked to provide general information on the vehicle that will be donated, and select a charity of your choice (be sure to tell them you want to donate to Ordo Templi Orientis USA). They accept most intact vehicles whether they are running or not. No smog certificate is required.
  2. All vehicles are towed at no charge to the donor, and Cars 4 Causes will complete all DMV paperwork. Vehicles are prepared for sale by completing minor repairs, maintenance and detailing.
  3. Donors are provided with a Kelly Blue Book evaluation to aid in the determination of the fair market value of the vehicle, a thank you letter for the donor, and a donation receipt to be used for taxes. If the value of your vehicle is $5,000.00 or more and you donate your vehicle to the Order through Cars 4 Causes, they will pay for the appraisal needed by the IRS. Everybody's tax situation is different, so consult with your tax professional to determine how your donation will benefit you.
  4. Vehicles are sold through advertisements, retail lots, eBay and live auctions. After the vehicle is sold, the revenue is distributed to the Order.
